Casinacho Games
Casinacho Games surprised me. On the surface it looks like a light tap-heavy title, but once you get into the layout planning it turns into a proper little strategy puzzle. You manage a grid, place defensive structures, and react as waves of enemies test whatever plan you thought was clever.
Controls are the best part. Everything is one-thumb friendly, drag to place, tap to upgrade, and a long press pulls up quick stats without covering the board. I played most of it on a bus and never fumbled a placement, which says a lot for a mobile game this busy.
What kept me coming back was the pacing. Each level throws a slightly different constraint at you, so you can't lean on one build forever. It's the kind of game where you close the app, then reopen it two minutes later to try the run again.
What we liked
- One-thumb controls that never get in the way
- Levels that force you to rethink your layout
- Short sessions that snowball into long ones
