Emberfall Legends

Emberfall Legends is a proper time sink. You build a party of four, each with their own skill trees, and the fun really starts once you begin mixing classes in ways the game never suggests. My tank-turned-support run was ridiculous and I loved it.

Combat is turn-based but snappy. Animations don't drag, and you can auto-resolve easy fights so grinding doesn't feel like a chore. The story is fine, nothing groundbreaking, but the writing has enough personality to keep you tapping through dialogue.

The gear system is where I lost whole evenings. Every piece has small modifiers you can reroll, and chasing the perfect setup for a boss is genuinely satisfying.
